Ride sharing reduces the costs involved in car travel by sharing trip expenses such as gas, tolls and car rental between the people traveling. Carpooling is also a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way to travel as sharing rides reduces carbon emissions, traffic on the roads and the need for parking spaces.
In short, ridesharing/carpooling is much more fun, green and convenient than taking the bus, a train or a plane flight. It is also cheaper!
